NFL Suspends Michael Vick
The Michael Vick’s story has been everywhere in the news and in my classrooms. Although I am tired of hearing about the story it is the top story of the week. Michael Vick not only violated the terms of his NFL contract but many people including young children looked up to him and many people’s point of view about him has changed. The story has prominence because I am sure that if he was not a celebrity and was just a regular man that was gambling on dog fights it would not have gotten attention from the national news media.

In addition to prominence, this story is unusual. There's also been controversy over how he should be treated, etc.
