The magazine segment project was a fun learning experience. I enjoyed creating the graphic box the best. The only thing that did not come out the way I wanted was the broadcast script because I did not have access to Garagband or iMovie, so all I could do was post it on my blog. The actual writing of the review took a lot longer than I thought because I kept adding and taking away parts that I did not like. I also reviewed many different restaurant reviews before I completed my own. In the end however I wish that I could have added something about the restaurant's drinks which I forgot in my review. I also thought that writing the broadcast script would be easier but in the end it was more difficult than I thought; because I had to take out a lot that I wanted to add on in my script, because it could only be 60 seconds.
If I could do the project over again I would try to be a lot more organized, especially with my broadcast script. However, I did feel that I did a good job writing the review. The part that I enjoyed the least was the 60 second broadcast script because I wish that I could have been able to put it on Utube and was able to post it on my blog. The thing that I had most difficulty with was trying to access iMovie and Garageband, especially since I was not able to get into the classroom, because I am taking the online class. I would definitely change that about the class because sometimes it made it difficult to fully participate in the projects, when not having access to iMovie and Garageband. Overall I felt that I definitely got a better perspective of a journalists work, and I really enjoyed the class. My major however is Public Relations and I am content with it, but I did feel that this journalism class was able to help my writing skills and that will surely be able to help me in the Public Relations field.

I liked the "four forks" in your graphic box.
I know several students did not have access to Garageband or iMovie. That was a problem. I'm working on an alternative way to handle the broadcast segment for next semester.
Thanks for your comments.
