Bin Laden urges Americans to Convert
This story really surprised me because personally I have not heard about Osama Bin Laden for some time now. It is also the first time in three years that he has appeared in video. Rumors were being said that he died of kidney failure in the end of last year or the beginning of this year. That is why the story surprised me that he was on television because I thought he had died. He addressed that the war would not stop unless if they won or Americans converted to Islam. Officials are still trying to figure out more information but the video seems to be recent because it has recent information in it.
The story I chose has impact because it has something to do with the whole United States not just a certain area so it will impact many people. It also has timeliness because it is a brand new story. Also the U.S. received the information before Al-Qaeda. The story is also current because as I said it just came out on Friday.
